I have done some work on Degree One Maps of 3-Manifolds, quantum invariants of knots, Khovanov invariants for knots and for graphs. I have also collaborated with people in computational biology, with work on complex networks, genomic sequencing. See my Brief CV for some of my publications in those areas.

Currently, I am the faculty mentor for Dr. Gabriel Montoya-Vega, an NSF Postdoc supposed by an NSF MPS-Ascend Postdoctoral Research Fellowships.
