I joined CUNY in 2019. I am based at the Queens College campus. I am also a doctoral faculty at the CUNY Graduate Center. Before joining CUNY, I served as faculty at the George Washington University since 1992.

My research interest is low dimensional topology, especially knot theory and 3-manifolds. I am also interested in applications in other fields such as combinatorics and computational biology.
